4.7 Maps & Navigation Varies with device 1.00M

Imagine you're planning a long electric ride, with every charging station along the way clearly arranged, allowing you to get on the road with confidence without worrying at all-this is what A Better Routeplanner (ABRP) can do. This software is specially designed for electric vehicle owners and promises to make you smarter and more reliable when traveling electric. It is simply the nemesis of "range anxiety" and is definitely the best companion for you to explore the distance.
ABRP was created by a group of enthusiasts and navigation experts who are obsessed with electric vehicles. They understand the tricks of driving electric vehicles too well. The goal of these people is to create an application that doesn't simply plan routes, but uses charging pile data and real-time updates to make the electric journey smooth enough to fly.
The first time you open ABRP, you will feel that the interface is clean and intuitive, just like opening a digital map drawn by an old driver. The design is simple and informative, making it easy to find directions whether you are a novice or an old driver.
This App is smooth to use, calculates fast, and adjusts in real time based on changes-like having a smart copilot helping you correct your route at any time. The learning threshold is really low; even people who use electric vehicles to navigate for the first time can quickly determine their custom preferences and understand recommended routes. The App will also give you some thoughtful tips that you can use easily as soon as you come up.
Unlike apps such as Google Maps or Waze that focus on urban navigation, ABRP is focused on addressing the special needs of electric car owners. The best thing about it is the ultra-detailed route plans designed for electric vehicles, which take into account the location of the charging station, power, and your vehicle parameters. This precision allows your journey to no longer be a wild guess, but a carefully planned adventure.
In addition, if your electric vehicle supports it, ABRP can also synchronize with the data on the vehicle in real time to know how much battery power is left, so that the route is more accurate. This integration makes it much smarter than ordinary map apps, especially suitable for long-distance travel, so you don't have to worry about power problems.
I have to say, it has to be worth it! Especially if you are an electric car owner who likes to travel by car or commute daily, but don't want to be always afraid of running out of electricity. ABRP's focused, practical and user-friendly navigation experience for electric travel is definitely unmatched by other map apps. The most powerful thing about it is its real-time intelligent charging planning and ultra-complete network data-these features can save lives when traveling long distances.
For car owners who occasionally drive a car, at first glance, this App may seem a little too detailed, but when you get used to those customization options, it will become your magic weapon. I suggest that if you want to take a longer route than usual, or just want peace of mind and optimize your electric journey, be sure to give it a try!
Open the APP, first choose your model, then enter your destination, and then click the "Plan" button, and it will automatically generate an optimal route with a charging station. These operations can be done on the main screen, which is quite simple!
Of course you can! Go to the Settings and find "Travel Preferences", where you can set the battery level you want, as well as other driving style options, and customize the plan completely to your preferences.
There are many models supported! You can select your car from the database when planning your route, or you can just update it in the "Vehicle" option in the settings. Basically, you can find all mainstream electric vehicles on the market.
It uses the latest crowd-sourced charging station data, which will be displayed when you plan and navigate. You can also open the "Charging Station" layer and check nearby charging points at any time. It's super convenient!
While driving, ABRP will dynamically update the route. If the battery is not enough, it will proactively suggest you add a charging station, and help you replan the route based on traffic and weather conditions-these can be used in the driving mode interface.
It will comprehensively consider your model, battery status, weather and your personal preferences, and then generate the most worry-free and suitable route, and will also arrange charging stations for you along the way. It's like having a considerate little assistant!
ABRP is widely praised for its exceptional long-distance EV route planning, offering realistic charging time and consumption estimates, especially when paired with live vehicle data. Users value its accuracy and cross-platform reliability. However, recent updates (v7) have sparked controversy: the new UI is considered less intuitive, some settings like charging limit and weight adjustment were removed, and modal scrolling is broken. While many find premium indispensable, others deem the subscription pricey. Vehicle compatibility is strong for major models, but some brands (BYD Song Plus, plug-in hybrids) are missing or unsupported. Navigation can be unreliable, suggesting poor routes, and real-time traffic/alternative routes are absent even for subscribers. Overall, ABRP remains a powerful tool for EV trip planning, but recent changes and cost have divided users.
I really liked this planner, but today's update makes it worse! The gas station filter was much better and faster to select with thumbs. Now it's extremely cumbersome to also choose the arrival SOC.
The free version has been sufficient for my preliminary planning so far.
The app's navigation is terrible, suggesting complicated routes and poor roads even when better alternatives exist. It froze after a highway break and stopped working. Speed cameras are not displayed despite purchasing the app. Traffic jams are announced only 1 km ahead, which is too late to change routes. The app is also overpriced.
Excellent application, extremely accurate in calculations and consumption data for BYD vehicles.
I want to test this app, but it lacks plug-in hybrid options. On long trips I'd use gas, but in towns I'd use battery power. Additionally, the 'request missing vehicle' feature doesn't work; clicking the link does nothing.
