Have you imagined it? Entering a world of carefully planned adventures, travel suddenly becomes effortless-Clear uses its whimsy to turn every departure into your own story. This thing is no ordinary travel app. It literally turns those rotten street itineraries into a shining box of memories: detailed routes, local secrets, and super-friendly features, all stuffed into one place, making you play not like a tourist, but like a real local.
Clear was created by the guys at WanderTech Labs, a group of crazy travel enthusiasts and tech geeks who were determined to redefine how we explore new places. While playing with various designs, these people were obsessed with real-life experiences, and finally came up with this handy and addictive App-it felt like the pits they had stepped on and the delicious food they had tasted while traveling were all taken by you. You picked it up.
When I first opened Clear, the clean and slightly delicate interface immediately dragged me into a travel notebook. Registration process? It's as fast as swiping Douyin-just answer a few questions about what you like, where to play, how many days to stay, and the App will start to customize your itinerary. Looking through those pages, I feel like looking through a carefully edited travel magazine. It is slippery and smooth, and I don't feel tired at all.
In terms of design, Clear uses colors that make people feel good and cute little icons, making it effortless to operate. There is nothing to say about the map function. It follows you wherever you go, and it updates in real time like a rabbit. Newbie and veteran? Anyone can get started in seconds, and there are also tips in the App to teach you advanced functions, but it will never bother you-this is very smart.
There are so many travel apps on the market that book tickets and read maps. But the hardest thing about Clear is its personality and depth. The AI-driven itinerary generator doesn't just give you a rigid list of attractions-it dynamically adjusts recommendations based on your mood, the weather, and how much time you have left. For example, it's like you have a local friend who tells you early in the morning: "Hey, the weather is beautiful today. I'll take you to that cafe that only locals know about. It's hidden at the end of the alley to make sure no one follows you." You know that feeling, right?
There is also that community function, which is not the kind of cold likes at all-the itinerary you share can attract feedback from real people and internal news. It was originally a trip for one person, but suddenly turned into a carnival for a group of people. This social sense, coupled with the authentic local experience, has allowed Clear to leave a bunch of apps that only build places for Internet celebrities to check in.
If you're someone who likes to be careful and doesn't want to be tortured by travel plans, and particularly wants to learn about the local culture rather than just take a quick look-Clear is definitely your thing. Especially when you go to places you are completely unfamiliar with, or if you want to add "meaning" to your journey, it's definitely the right thing to use. Want to double the experience? Take a few minutes to fill in your preferences carefully and let the AI get to know you well, and it will give you a set of itinerary that will really hit your heart-don't be lazy, it's worth it.
To be honest, I classify it as a "universal travel assistant". Whether it is a casual player who just wants to stroll around casually, or a person who is a deep travel enthusiast and likes to take alternative routes, you can find surprises from it. Although it may not be able to replace traditional travel agencies or booking websites, it is like a super considerate little partner, turning your trip from "having been there" to "telling it is a good story"-that feeling, Whoever uses it will know.
First download the app, create an account, and then follow the screen prompts to scan your ID and biometric data. The whole process is fast, safe, and easy!
You can upload your passport or driver's license, find your personal information in the app's settings, and you can upload it, so that you can meet the REAL ID.
By verifying identity through biometrics, the app allows you to take fast lanes and greatly shorten the security queue time. Cool!
Of course! It can also be used in cooperative stadiums, concerts, live events, etc.; just check the venue location in the app to see if it supports it.
This function will track your itinerary and accurately guide you to the boarding gate on time, ensuring that you can travel smoothly through the airport and no longer be afraid of getting lost.
Upload your COVID-19 test results or vaccination certificate through the Health Pass option in the app to meet the health and safety requirements of the venue.
CLEAR aims to expedite airport security, and some users report fast lane experiences, particularly during trips like Hawaii. However, the app suffers from severe reliability issues. Identity verification frequently fails—scans of driver’s licenses, passports, and even LinkedIn profiles repeatedly error out. Customer support is widely criticized as unresponsive, with long hold times and automated replies that resolve nothing. Billing problems also surface: several users were charged after canceling trials or for services not rendered. While a few found the service convenient, many others experienced device malfunctions, longer waits than TSA PreCheck, or complete inability to register. The app’s instability and poor support make it a risky choice for travelers.
I have been trying to open the Clear program for several days and it has been difficult for me.
Poor experience. I couldn't register because the app couldn't confirm my identity.
I previously used this service to store my vaccination records, but they now say it has been discontinued. Additionally, Philadelphia International Airport, the airport I fly from, is not listed.
This is by far the worst customer support and the longest hold times I've ever experienced from any company. Absolutely dreadful.
The device failed to operate during my initial attempt to use it.
