Have you ever tried wandering around in Hersheypark? Those exciting roller coasters and fragrant chocolate stalls are right in front of you, but you can't find the entrance after circling around, or you can't find the entrance after queuing for a long time... Don't be afraid, this official App is like your personal guide + Magic map, turning what was originally a messy day into an adventure of "walking as you say, skating to the end". Seriously, I didn't want to turn it off from the moment I downloaded it.
This is the biological App of Hershey Entertainment and Resorts. To put it bluntly, it is a considerate little digital assistant. Its mission is to make you queue less, be happier, and recommend projects based on your tastes. It simply understands you better than your boyfriend!
Come, come, let me show you its "trump card":
This App is mainly for families, adventurers, and locals who want to visit the park in one day. With it, you will become the "most beautiful kid in the park"-never running around, never getting lost, and never missing anything exciting.
When I first opened it, I almost thought I was visiting a Hershey-themed amusement park! The interface is colorful, the icons are cute, and every corner is filled with the sweetness of chocolate. The operation is also super smooth, and you don't need to read the instructions at all-you can see the queue time by clicking on the "roller coaster", and you can add it to your itinerary with another click. The entire experience is like playing an interactive game rather than an ordinary app.
It runs so fast on both iOS and Android. Whether it's the last moment in line or the sudden need to change your mind to watch a show, it responds super quickly and doesn't get stuck at all. Even if you are a tech idiot, you can become a "user" in a matter of minutes.
What surprised me the most was the augmented reality (AR) feature! If you take your mobile phone and scan it, you will see virtual elves jumping in front of you, telling you about queuing times, interesting tips and so on. This thing makes waiting fun-it feels like it's not in line, it's adventure! Really, it's not like a tool, but more like your thoughtful little guide.
To be honest, many theme park apps are just electronic map and ticket purchase pages, which are boring to death. But Hersheypark is different-it combines real-time updates with personalized travel. When queuing times change every minute, it can help you adjust your plans instantly: Do you see that roller coaster suddenly has fewer people? Let's go! This dynamic adaptability is simply heaven-defying. In a crowded place like holidays, it is a life-saving straw.
Another highlight is its deep binding with the Fast Lane system. You are in line and suddenly you realize there are many people in front of you? Take out your phone, upgrade to Fast Lane with one click, and immediately jump to the front. This one-stop service of "ticket buying + queue jumping" has transformed the App from an information platform into a tangible efficiency artifact.
And its design is really thoughtful-the screen is filled with Hershey's signature brown, white and joyful elements, like pulling you into a fairy tale book. Compared with those cold third-party travel apps, this App has soul and warmth, and even queuing becomes romantic.
Summary in one sentence: This App is not a gimmick, it is a real and good thing! Whether you are going to Xiaobai for the first time or a veteran checking in every year, it can make you have more fun. The most powerful thing is real-time queuing information and personalized planning functions-these two things can directly upgrade your garden experience from "okay" to "wow"!
If you plan to go to Hersheypark, I sincerely recommend you download it in advance. It is the most loyal little friend in your backpack, helping you turn your day from "ordinary" to "unforgettable". Of course, if you are willing to spend a few minutes studying what it does-believe me, it will be worth it. Whether you want to ride the most exciting roller coaster or find a quiet corner to eat ice cream, this App will allow you to fulfill your wishes smarter and happier. Go ahead and try it, you won't regret it!
Very simple! Go to the mobile app store to download the app first, then register an account for free, and then play with various functions, such as maps and rides information, which can help you plan your trip well!
Of course you can! After logging in to your HPGO account, you can set up reminders, make a to-do list, and design your own park route to play as much as you want. Isn't it super considerate?
Use that interactive map, click "Get Directions" to get step-by-step navigation, telling you how to get to the rides, toilets, and service points, all in the app, and you will never be afraid of getting lost!
Open the app, find the ride information column, and you can see the real-time waiting time, so that you can quickly decide what to play next and save yourself from waiting!
Of course I can! Click on the catering section and you can see the menu, ingredients, allergens, and the locations of various food stalls. It is so convenient to arrange what you want to eat in advance!
Log in to your HPGO account and go to the "ride stats" and "photos" sections to view and manage your play history and photos, full of memories!
Users generally appreciate Hersheypark's app for simplifying park navigation and helping locate rides, food, and amenities—especially valuable for first-time visitors. The park itself is praised for its welcoming atmosphere, cleanliness, and family-friendly attractions like Candymonium. However, key features receive mixed feedback. For navigation: while many find the map intuitive with real-time updates, others report erratic spinning, upside-down labels, poor GPS accuracy, and unclear starting directions. For wait times: some users find them occasionally accurate, but the majority strongly criticize frequent inaccuracies—displayed waits are often far shorter than reality, and ride statuses may show closed when open. A few suspect intentional underestimation to attract crowds. The app also suffers from crashes, blank screens on Android, slow bookmarking requiring an account, and wait times disappearing after 6 PM. Nevertheless, several users consider it superior to competitor apps (e.g., Disney) for trip planning. Overall, the app is a helpful pre-trip tool but unreliable for real-time decision-making.
The application works fine overall, but the map interface is not user-friendly and poses challenges for navigation.
Outstanding
This app is worthless. The wait times shown are horribly inaccurate. It always says 5 or 10 minutes, but in reality it's over 60 minutes. I believe Hershey does this on purpose to make the park seem less crowded and attract more visitors.
This app is excellent for planning ahead, showing ride locations and height requirements in advance. However, during in-park use, the system glitches, providing inaccurate wait times and ride availability. Great as a pre-trip tool, but not reliable on the day.
Hershey's park is enjoyable, but the fast pass system spoils the experience for everyone else by creating extremely long queues. On a Wednesday, we waited an average of 90 minutes. The park wasn't overly crowded, yet Hershey's profit-driven express pass leads to extended wait times throughout the entire park. Please eliminate the express lines.
