Can you believe it? As long as you pop up a picture in your mind, type a few words or draw a sketch, PixAI can generate a super-touching anime style illustration for you! Whether it's Xiaobai who has nothing to do with drawing or a veteran who wants to find inspiration quickly, this tool can make you feel so good that you can fly-anyway, when I first used it, it really made a noise.
A group of geeks who understand AI and love painting came together to create this thing. Their goal is pure: making it easy for everyone to create high-quality anime pictures. Core highlights? I'll scare you when I say it:Style transfer -you can turn real photos into anime characters in seconds, without any facial features;custom characters pinch their faces-you can use hairstyles, clothes, and expressions at will, and AI will help you integrate them into a complete character; There is alsoreal-time preview-if you change it, the picture will change accordingly. That kind of feedback speed is great! Moreover, the interface is very friendly, and you can start it directly with zero basics, and veterans can't find a point to complain about.
In the past, when I wanted to draw a cartoon character, I had to spend half a day thinking about the outline and then sharpen it with a pencil for a long time. What now? Just type the sentence "cat-eared girl in school uniform is eating ice cream under the cherry blossom tree" in PixAI, and press Enter-Ho! An animated picture with full colors and smooth lines popped up. It feels like hiring a private painter who is available on call, or the kind of immortal painter who never annoys you and never gets angry even if you change it 10,000 times!
This feature is definitely PixAI's trump card! You post a photo of yourself, or any photo of your life, and then choose an anime style filter-eh? The person in the photo instantly became a comic character, his eyes became bigger, his skin became more transparent, and even the background had a soft smudge feeling. The key thing is that the face is still the same, and the expression and demeanor are completely preserved, but the whole world has become "anime". To put it bluntly, this is a super-divine secondary plastic surgery on the photos!
I like this module the most because it's so fun! Want to pinch a cold senior with white hair and red eyes? Or is it a two-ponytail girl? The system gives you dozens of hairstyles, hundreds of accessories, and even dozens of expressions. It's like you're putting together Lego. After selecting the parts, the AI itself kneads them into a coordinated whole. The process is addictive-I just wanted to squeeze an avatar, but I accidentally squeezed it for three hours... and every character generated can be used directly for stories, games, or social media avatars, which feels like a huge profit!
What are you most afraid of when creating? I'm afraid it will be damaged! But PixAI's real-time preview function is really life-saving-you adjust the color and the picture changes immediately; you change your hair from blue to purple and it updates in a second. This kind of instant feedback is like playing a coloring game. You dare to try and make mistakes, and you can undo or adjust it at any time. It turned out that the anxiety of "if the painting is broken, it will be useless" completely disappeared, and the whole person suddenly relaxed, becoming more daring to play and loving painting.
The interface is as clean as freshly polished glass, all the operation buttons are placed on the surface, and there are also small prompts when the mouse is swiped, so you don't need to learn at all. Compared with other tools, the best thing about PixAI is that it uses AI to do the most tiring work for you-you don't have to learn complex layer, mask, and brush parameters, just say "I want this feeling", and AI will Help you achieve it. The pictures it produces do not have that cheap "AI sense", the styles are naturally integrated, and there are even some details that make you wonder if they are really generated by algorithms?
Compared with traditional painting software, PixAI is like the kind of considerate helper who "knows what you want to do before you even ask." For those who just want to draw pictures quickly, this tool is a savior!
To sum up: PixAI combines the ingenuity of AI with the silky feel of user operations just right. Whether you use it for inspiration or do conceptual design for projects, it can give reliable answers. Especially the style migration and role generation functions, I don't think other software can catch up for the time being. Newbies don't have to learn any advanced skills to get started, and veterans can use it to quickly verify ideas-this is a cost-effective price, no one else.
Of course, if you are the kind of person who pursues the ultimate detail control of every line hand-painted, then it may not be suitable for you-after all, there is always a probability that something generated automatically will not be perfect. But if you just want to quickly create a decent anime character, make a visual plan, or simply want to enjoy the fun of "imagination instantly turning into painting", then PixAI is definitely worth a try! Spend a few minutes playing and you may open the door to a new world.
First download PixAI, register an account, then pick an AI model, paint or write some prompts on a simple interface, and you can start tinkering with your animation works!
New users can find model selections, style templates, and editing tools such as partial redrawing/expansion in the main menu. It is easy to get started and you can have fun with just a random toss!
Use the style template to adjust the parameters, then take out the editing tool from the workspace, customize the image according to your own preferences, and change it any way you want!
The model market is full of AI models of various styles. Go in from the main menu, flip through it, and pick a handy one to make your creative process more exciting!
Upload your photos and click the "Picture to Art" function. It will turn your photos into super stylish anime characters and you can also tune your own options!
The animation function can turn still pictures into small videos! Go in from the Tools menu, upload your pictures, follow the prompts, and you can generate a moving picture!
PixAI is widely praised as one of the best AI anime art generators for its high-quality images, diverse models/LoRAs, generous free daily credits, and ease of use. Users love its realistic hand rendering and creative freedom. However, opinions are split on content filtering: some find the NSFW filter overly sensitive, blocking non-explicit content like "black tie" or crouching poses, while others support stricter policies to protect minors. Feature changes also divide users – many appreciate the free diamond rewards and core features intact, but others lament the removal of the legacy realtime generator, paywalled tools, and limited LoRA access for non-members. Mobile app performance issues, occasional generation failures (e.g., CFG scale errors), and inconsistent instruction following add to frustrations. Despite these issues, it remains a top choice for anime fans, with hopes for relaxed restrictions and continued improvement.
After recovering from cataract surgery in both eyes, I struggled to find creative inspiration for my art. Then I came across AI-generated art online and was fascinated. Searching on Google Play led me to this app. I am truly grateful to its creators!
The app is great, but occasionally random items are flagged as sensitive/NSFW, making them inaccessible and undownloadable. Hopefully this will be improved in the future.
The legacy alpha Realtime generator was easy to understand, but both the app and website removed it. Tutorials and that generator were best for beginners. Without it, I cannot recommend Pixai. 1 star.
It is the best app for creating designs with artificial intelligence.
I really like this app; the variety of styles and image quality are impressive. However, I've noticed that typing 'black tie' triggers a policy block, while other colors work fine. This feels like a subtle form of racism.
