Whether you are a car fan or an ordinary car owner, Torque Pro can instantly turn your mobile phone into a portable "car condition doctor". It uses the OBD II system to give you real-time data, custom dashboards, and a bunch of diagnostic tools-so that you no longer feel confused by the fault lights, but instead feel that raising a car is quite exciting.
A team called "Gordon Carey"-actually a group of technical nerds who understand cars and love to write code. They created the Torque series of apps, which are said to have attracted many fans because of their powerful functions and friendly operation. These people are very accurate in capturing data and the interface design is also very user-friendly, so Torque Pro is very popular among ordinary car owners and professional technicians.
When I opened the Torque Pro, I felt at first glance that-well, that dashboard is both technical and not dazzling. Its dark theme is equipped with adjustable meters and readings, so you can see it clearly when driving at night. Compared to those messy diagnostic tools, Torque Pro's layout is like carefully decorated the cockpit-it's easy for veterans, but also for novices.
It's smooth to operate. Switching panels or looking at real-time data is like flipping through a notebook, and it's not stuck at all. The learning curve is also quite smooth, and most people can play the core functions in a few minutes-because it comes with guidance and there are also a bunch of enthusiastic riders online to help. There is really no pressure at hand.
Many OBD applications on the market just read trouble codes, but Torque Pro's depth and customization are its killer. The real-time data flow is fast and stable, just like you are watching a high-definition live broadcast of the engine without any interruption. What's more, it allows you to turn your dashboard into career tuning software. Moreover, it can also record data points for a long time, which is a divine aid for performance adjustment and preventive maintenance.
In short, if you want your car to no longer be a black box, whether it's amateur adjustment, DIY car repair, or just peace of mind, Torque Pro is worth a try. In particular, its real-time data reliability and dashboard customization capabilities absolutely crush a bunch of free apps. As long as your car supports the OBD II protocol, install it and the matter of maintaining a car will become particularly reliable.
First find a compatible Bluetooth OBD II adapter and plug it into the car's interface, then open Torque Pro and pair the device in Bluetooth settings. Follow the instructions on the screen step by step and you will be able to monitor your car in no time!
Basically, all cars with OBD II interfaces that were shipped after 2000 can be used, and brands such as Ford, Volkswagen, Honda, Toyota, and BMW are all OK. But it's best to check if your car has an OBD II system first-don't buy it and find out that it doesn't work, that'll be embarrassing.
No trouble! Plug the Bluetooth OBD II adapter into the OBD II port in the car, then start the car, turn on the mobile phone to pair it with Bluetooth, and finally connect it into the Torque Pro. It's easy, get it done in one go!
Of course! Enter the instrument panel settings, click "Add widgets", and then adjust the dials such as speed, water temperature, and fuel consumption at will. You can also save several different configuration plans-do them in Settings> Configuration File, and change them whenever you want. It's super free!
It can display engine speed, coolant temperature, fuel consumption, throttle position, and fault codes in real time! It's simply a car's health monitor, allowing you to keep track of its status at any time, making it feel much more at ease when driving ~
Just use the GPS logging and travel logging functions! Set it in Log> Record Trip. If you want to be more cool, you can also use the Track Recorder plug-in to add a video overlay effect, and then share it with your friends to show off, haha!
Users generally praise Torque Pro for its value for money, intuitive interface, and solid OBD II diagnostic capabilities, with many long-time users finding it reliable for real-time data and quick error fixes. However, key concerns center on connectivity, compatibility, and accuracy. Regarding connectivity, some users report seamless Bluetooth/WiFi performance, while others face frequent crashes, failed connections, or issues after updates. Compatibility is mixed: it works well with many vehicles (e.g., Toyota Troopy), but fails on specific models like Audi A3, Renault, and VW Suran 2009, or with Android 14. Accuracy feedback is split—positive comments highlight successful error detection, but negatives note GPS altitude errors (~150 ft off), incorrect trip cost calculations (km-to-miles bug), and inability to detect existing error codes. Customer support receives both praise for helpful responses and criticism for non-responsiveness and refund difficulties. Overall, Torque Pro remains a feature-rich OBD II tool for many, yet recent reliability and compatibility issues have frustrated a significant number of users.
Excellent app as always saved me whenever needed, even on the road when fuel light came on after refueling. It fixed the error in minutes. Took longer to connect via Bluetooth than to repair. Highly recommend!
I was charged twice for the application. Please help process a refund for the duplicate charge.
I bought it, but it won't connect to Bluetooth. The interface is unintuitive and has too many Bluetooth options, including absurd ones that are unnecessary and unhelpful.
The support was incredibly helpful and efficient, making the task much easier to complete.
The system is not functioning properly.
